Teaching Assistant
 
In the second week we were in Prathomsuksa Thammasat school, the activities we do is teaching assistant. However, because of the grand celebration (festival of Thai culture) in this school so learning and teaching is not very effective because all the teachers and students are busy preparing for the event to be held, the activities of teaching assistant we are helping prepare for the event, one of which is to train students who emceed in English. While teachers train students in preparing for the offerings that will be displayed. Everyone was very enthusiastic about this event, in addition to the many games that were presented, the event was also attended by all parents. Unfortunately, we were not able to attend the festival to completion due to clock dorm that does not let us go home until late

Teaching
 
In the period of teaching carried out at week three, before we start teaching our class met with officials of subjects science teacher name is Geng. To split grade how much we guided, we were asked to create a lesson plan, preparing the material, and make any appropriate medium learning. After the lesson plan, materials, and media will be used in class approved by teachers and school officials. I got the grade 4 to teach about science. Previously we have also observed this class in the same subject is science.
 

I taught for 60 minutes. The material that I gave about the white light and rainbow. In addition to printed books, I also use a video animation of the rainbow formation process as a learning medium. One of the reasons why I use video animation, because the children are very happy with things like animation and cartoons. Evidently, after video shown they are very eager to follow learning. Later, I asked some people to tell what the content of the video that has been aired. In addition, I also asked a few people to come forward to write down the colors of the rainbow and spell in English.


When the weekend we were invited to a historic place in Bangkok, the Grand Palace. There are many buildings associated with the history of Buddhist.





Reflection
 
Last Sunday we follow this program, we still go to school and make a report reflection. On Monday, our school was first visited by a group of SEAMEO and lecturers of Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University as to evaluate what we have done in school for three weeks.
 
 



Other activities that we do is teach about Indonesian culture to students Thailand. Such as traditional dance and songs of Indonesian children.
 
 
 
 
 
 
We were also given the opportunity to ask a traditional dance during the commemoration day of education in education Faculty.  we bring 4 ethnic dances ( Makassar, Bugis, Toraja, and Malay)


 


And Two days before we return to Indonesia, we said goodbye to the President of Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University
 













Next, we headed to Chaippatana Foundation, which is a foundation in cooperation with the Thai kingdom and contribute to the development of Thailand.





on 22 February we returned to Indonesia
